4 October 2009- CX @ Bewery Ommegang! It's back and better every year. An instant classic, our annual cyclocross race is even bigger and better this year! Not only do we have the best venue EVER for a CX race, this year we are also part of the NYCross series. Come get series points and Belgian ale!

Additionally, we are raffling off a Soul Cyles frame on the day of the event. You have to be there to win!

The first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative pint glass. And to fill that pint glass, we have applied for a permit to serve Ommegang in the race tent.

19 September 2009- The Critz Farms Kermis will be held at Critz Farms on Rt 13 just south of Cazenovia, NY. This is a family and kid friendly event with races for seasoned racers, beginners, and children alike. With the many additional activities offered by Critz Farms, you can make this a full day event for your family.

The Crits Farms Kermis is a NORBA sanctioned mountain bike event. All USAC MTB rules will be in effect.

5 August 2008 - The second annual CX @ Brewery Ommegang is accounced! Visit a Belgian-style brewery and enjoy some classic Belgian-style cyclocross in lovely Cooperstown, NY.

It's time to dust off those Kross bikes, slop some lube on that muddy chain, and get ready for the 2nd annual CX @ Brewery Ommegang. Belgian-style PsychoKross at the finest Belgian brewery west of the Ardennes where they brew the best recovery beverages known to modern athletics.

5 October, 2008. Races start at 1000 and continue into the afternoon. There's even a kids race for the youngsters 10-14 with age-appropriate prizes for all racers. Mark this event on your calendar. Last year's race was a great success and this year will be bigger and better!

As an added bonus, there will be live music provided by CNY's favourite cycle-hippie, William Nicholson.

7 October, 2007- Team SCARR-Ommegang put on the first of hopefully many to come, "CX @ Ommegang" cyclocross race hosted by Brewery Ommegang. The day was a rousing success for the team, the racers, and the brewery. Highlights included the hairpin inside the tent, races starting to the sound of a popping cork, beautiful weather, a virtuoso musical performance by William Nicholson, a great turnout, and some of the finest after-race refreshments ever at a central NY CX race.
